What are cookies?

Our use of cookies and other browser-based storage

We use cookies only when and as necessary to provided you with the best experience when using Timo.


In addition, we also use a persistent authentication cookie, which expires after a week, so you don't have to enter your email address and password each time you return to Timo.

To ensure the best experience with switching your theme, we also set a cookie if you change your theme so this selections persists between subsequent visits to the application, so the initial load can correctly reflect your choice.

To provide chat support, we use HelpCrunch. HelpCrunch sets cookies in order to be able to know who you are and provide you with access to your conversation history between sessions.


We use persistent LocalStorage throughout Timo in order to provide an offline first experience. This includes your tasks, the time tracked and your theme data.
